Youtube channel, Gamehut just uploaded unused demo music from the popular Megadrive game, Sonic 3D: Flickies ‘Island. The composer is none other than the legendary Jun Senoue who is known for composing most of the Sonic games soundtrack.
The Gamehut channel is owned by Jon Burton. For those who don’t know, Jon Burton founded Travellers Tales/Tt Games. He had some extensive time on the Megadrive back in it’s heyday. Today he has shared some pretty interesting music. It is an unused track from Sonic 3D: Flickies ‘Island composed by the legendary Jun Senoue.
If you’re a Sonic fan, you might be thinking that you’ve heard this track before. Well you would be correct as the song was further developed and made it into the popular Dreamcast game, Sonic Adventure.
It’s a nice piece of gaming history and interesting to see how the final piece came to be.
