The first Rayman game was released way back in 1995 on the Atari Jaguar. Rayman sold more than 900,000 copies within the first two years and it became one of the United Kingdom’s top-selling games. Since then, it has been ported to many devices such as the original Playstation, Sega Saturn, MS-DOS, Gameboy Colour, DSiWare and even iPhones. After all these ports, there has never been a substantial update to the original game until now.
Game Developer Ryemanni has essentially remade the classic game using the Game Maker Studio 2 engine. However, this is not just a straight up remake, it’s more of a reimagining of the original game. The official website states “Rayman Redemption is a reimagination of the original Rayman game from 1995. This features a lot of new content, including new worlds, levels, minigames and stuff to collect and complete.”
Rayman Redemption has been released on website ‘GameJolt’ which is home to other types of fangames. You can download the game via the link here!
