Leon Kennedy Move Over, Akuma Is Here

Let’s go back to April 1998, when the comic gaming magazine EGM2 reported that Resident Evil 2 will allow players to unlock and play the Street Fighter character Akuma. Players were required to finish the game as both Leon and Claire six times, utilising just a knife and a handgun, and to receive an A rank in each scenario, according to the prank. This sophisticated April Fool’s joke became one of the most well-known video game hoaxes, causing years of uncertainty and conjecture over the reality of “Resident Evil 2: Akuma Mode.”

Now, the myth has become a reality. Playing as Akuma in the original Resident Evil 2 and using his Shoryukens and Gohadokens against a variety of undead creatures like zombies, lickers, crows, zombie dogs, and enormous alligators is made possible by a new mod.

Three creative modders: Kashup, Snipz, and Zky—created the mod together. To get the mod, simply ensure you have the Resident Evil 2 Sourcenext PC Version and the latest Classic Rebirth installed.
